Melissa and Daniel got married at Pine Rose Cabins a few months ago, but their story began years before that. He was a young scorekeeper for their soccer team, and she was just trying to avoid traffic and save gas by going early to soccer practices. They got to know each other and became friends through the love of soccer. Just before Daniel was about to move up North is when Melissa realized that she was in love with him. So after months of angling for a date, they finally went out and everything else is history.

From Melissa:

On their 3rd year anniversary, Daniel convinced Melissa to call in sick to work so they could spend all day at their favorite place, Disneyland. After a great day of rides and churros (and corndogs, ice cream, pretzels, candy… mmmm. What were we talking about?), Daniel wandered Melissa over to the castle and asked one of the Disney photographers to capture them making a wish in Snow White’s Wishing Well. After they both made a wish, Daniel got down on one knee and asked Melissa to marry him.

Melissa and Daniel’s wedding at Pine Rose Cabins in Lake Arrowhead was elegant and laid back. The June fog rolled in just in time to create beautiful lighting throughout the entire day. The unexpected cold weather did not deter anyone from having a great time. The Pine Rose event staff were very accommodating as usual.

I always enjoy my time at Pine Rose. It is such a beautiful venue with so many photography options. Below are some of my favorite photos from Melissa and Daniel’s beautiful rustic boho wedding at Pine Rose Cabins.
