Holdfast MoneyMaker Review | Leather Camera Strap
It’s probably my favorite multi-camera harness that I’ve used. It’s made out of leather, with heavy and high quality buckles. It is very comfortable for me to wear all day with both camera’s on. My clients, and guests, always notice and compliment on how good the harness looks. That’s the most important thing right? 🙂
There are a couple of things I don’t like about the Holdfast MoneyMaker camera harness. One is that it is tanned only on 1 side, making the other side prone to attract dirt and sweat. You can’t clean that off easily. The other thing is that the main screw that holds the camera to the harness has backed out several times, even with the rubber washer. It’s a good thing that Holdfast has a built-in secondary safety strap, but it is still not a good feeling when it happens. I also heard that some of the buckles will catch on to long hair easily, so this can be a problem for photographers with long hair. It’s a non-problem for me since I have very short hair.
Despite all these, I love my Holdfast MoneyMaker multi-camera harness. It’s probably one of my best non-electronic investment.
