Mt Woodson Castle Wedding | Kristin and Ivan
Kristin and Ivan are so much fun to photograph. Everything about these two beautiful people just flow so well together, from how gentle Ivan is toward Kristin and to how much Kristin cares for Ivan. As a photographer, it’s always great see how well my couple just melt into each other.
The story of these two lovebirds started online, then through a mutual friend over Facebook, then meeting in person at a gym, then a dinner date, and they have been inseparable ever since. Ivan loves Kristin’s sense of humor, her unconditional support for him, and he knows that she loves him no matter what. Kristin loves that Ivan is very outgoing, his love for his family, and his dance moves. After dating for several years, Ivan finally proposed to Kristin at Big Sur over looking the beautiful Pacific Ocean. She obviously said yes.
I met Kristin a while back through Facebook, after posting an engagement session of some mutual friends. She is an established artist herself so it’s very humbling to have another artist follow my work. A tall, dark, and handsome dude (Ivan) finally proposed to her and she reached out to me for the possibility of being her wedding photographer. After a brief and fun consultation in San Diego, they booked me almost 2 years in advance for the wedding.
Kristin and Ivan’s wedding took place at the beautiful historic Mt Woodson Castle in San Diego. There were plenty of tears, laughter, alcohol, and crazy dance moves. I think the alcohol contributed to a lot of the brave dance moves. It was such a great place be and to witness such a beautiful wedding. Below are some of my favorite photos of the day. I hope you all enjoy looking through them as much as I did taking them.
